Boy, I dunno, you guys. Been a lot of years since I worked on the big rigs, but I've never, ever heard of the air applying the brakes. The air pressure releases the brakes. The "parking brake" uses the truck's same braking system and just dumps the air. Just can't believe that the whole industry standard has been flipped 180 degrees since I was last in these things???
