Well it sounds like the position/draft control but you say 8-10 inches, thats to long to be that now if its more like 3 or 4 inches thats what it probably is. Shoot drop me an e-mail and I can send you picture and pages from an NAA owners manual that I have. My e-mail is open and all you have to do is click on where it says e-mail. There is a lever on the left side that is about that long but its for the PTO.
