Thanks for all the ongoing advice. Today I saw a 1980 555 Ford. Overall...not much abuse. The price is 9,500. It comes with an extra bucket & homade 4 way plow set up. BUT to my surprise AND the owners surprise...It didnt run. It did run as long as he poured a mix into the tank.But didnt continue after. He seems concerened and honest and said he will get it running for me so I can try it out dig some holes & such. He seemed ok. The engine was dirty, but the machine seemd like a typical used tractor....but I didnt see abuse or wierd things welded up. Whats your opinions...? He seems pretty honest. Thanks Ace
