We have had a lot of Case tractors with thousands and thousands of hard hours on them and only had three powershifts go out. Two just sheared the clutch pack bolts off and one actually was wore out. You can split the tractor easily and repair yourself for a fraction of the cost. 1070's are good tractors, you can do a lot with one. Not too big and not too small. They have lots of torque and start rather well in the cold. Change the hyd oil as recommended and let them warm up for a few minutes before lugging them or shifting under full load. Good tractors.
