I have read some articles in Diesel Power magazine concerning this. They said going to a 4" exhaust will give you some increase on performance, a 5" will need some major mods to make any differance. As for an intake, I put a K&N air box on my PS, did not notice a lot of performance, but fuel economy dropped 2-3 MPG, as soon as it gets warmer I am going to put the stock air filter back on it. Just make sure the exhaust you put on has a muffler for a diesel, some companies are using gas mufflers on diesel engines and can cause BIG headaches. I think you can get a cat back system from Summit racing for about $300.00.
