I do respect your thoughts and you are on the most part right in thinking that way because you seem to be very safe. however as far as the difference between being trained and receiving a CDL making you a better driver, im not convenced of that even though it should be that way. you see i work for a company that gets alot of deliveries and most of the time we get good service and i beleive that most truck drivers are good drivers but a certain truck line has some real winners. one of the most common screw up is that all of our stuff has to be sent out by air ride and believe it our not most of these guys dont no what air ride suspension is. i would think that they should of at least learned that. they have also came to pick up a full load and the trailer that they had with them was completely full and locked, and these our the guys that are suppose to be safer drivers and ready for the road with 80,000lbs behind them. i guess what im saying there must be a way for some of these guys to get there CDLs because in my opinion i wouldnt let them sweep our floor. once again i do not want to sound like im jumping on truck drivers it is only a select few that some how got through the system. thanks for your thoughts.
