Are sure sure it even has one in it. A lot of times they are removed and threwn away because at some point in time they got hot and the owner didn't want to take the time or spend the money to replace it. But yes that would be why it didn't warm up much. I would say at least 50% of the tractors I buy don't have thermostats in them
