Thanks for the information. By chance does this post hole auger still have a readable decal on the gearbox? I've searched a lot of different ways and found two cities here in the heartland by the Ottawa name. One in Kansas and one in Illinois. Have been trying to obtain information from both of the historical groups in both cities but nothing yet. I've also tried all the dealers in owners manuals and other printed items but haven't gotten a score there yet either. I know this is the proper name for my auger as that much of the decal is readable. The lower portion where the company and location are noted just aren't readable any more. I know this isn't the only piece of equipment still around made by the company and will just have to keep trying until I run into something. If your decal is readable it might contain some information as to their location.
