JD 50 I used an old drill to seed with.It had no furrow openers or press wheels.I would go over the field with a springtooth just before seedng.
I would attach chains at the rear of the drill to help cover seed and to smooth the field. Sometimes I would harrow the field after seeding.
Got more seat time that way. steveormary
