Ive run an 8610 agco allis that the dealer told me was made by SAME and labeled agco. Im not impressed at all. Dealer mechanic said they were nothing but trouble and if they made it too 3500 hrs w/o major work it would be lucky. 5000 sure doesnt sound like much money for what youre describing so maybe its worth the price. The 8610 is a 96 model around the same hp, with an air cooled motor. The air dams on this motor arent nearly as well built as on the deutz motors and we had trouble with it getting hot while baling hay. Other problems are hard shifting and leaks hydraulic oil like a seive. For the money you talk about, it must be an older model which maybe a whole let better.
