how do we lose a message?

I posted a message either on this form or the Farmall form, and I can"t find it. I posted about my grandpa"s Farmall B and how my cousins had it and i"m gonna try and get it and restore it. It"s vanished, like a fart in the wind. I"ve checked the archives of both forms and the main search in the upper right corner of the page with no luck. Has this happened to anyone else? I don"t remember any replies that were offensive, so I don"t think it was deleted. Any ideas guys?
