Best tractor ever made in the low end of that range is the Ford 5000, honorable mention to the Massey 165 and the Deere 2510. Best tractor ever made in the upper end of that range is any one of these five: Deere 4020, Ollie 1850, IH 856, Allis Chalmers OneNinety XT, and Case 1070 Agri-King.
