Followed your suggestions and removed shifter and looking down tube were 3 channels. The channel that runs the Reverse and First gear is moving freely not attached to anything. I can take a screwdriver and move it back and forth and see both ends which are not attached to anything. Now the tractor is locked in lst gear I believe. If I put the shifter back and shift to 2,3,4,5 the tractor acts like its in two gears. Whats up??
