JD makes a nice 1209 (yours would be a 1207 for 7') that is light hears ahead from a maintenance standpoint, and every other aspect I can think of.

Tractor is plenty big. haybine is light and requires very little hp to cut and crimp. Your tractor is plenty large to square bale. BTDT

Just one word of caution on bailing. If you don't have an independent PTO on your tractor buy and install an overrun clutch on the PTO shaft. The first time you are baling and want to stop the tractor before the baler stops you will know real fast why you need one. Course some balers have builtin overrun clutches......and some don't.
