Great tractor. I just got one with a loader on it for $7500. I already own an 1130. I like the 1100 better then the JD 4020 Power shift I used to have. They are heavier then comparable tractors. The Perkins 354 engine is tough and pretty good on fuel. They are more user friendly when it comes to operation or service points then my old Deere. Besides your basic used tractor check points(engine, brakes, clutch, etc). Drive the tractor and check the multipower. It should go from high to low quickly and smoothly at any rpm. On the subject of multipower(masseys 2 speed powershift). Be sure to get an owner manual and learn how to properly use it as it has a few different features and safety issues then other 2 speed powershifts. Multipower is more durable then an International TA. Parts are still readily available for the Massey 1100.
