Thanks for comments everyone, hard to get good advice here in Australia. The machine is indeed a turbo, was an anniversary run apparently released in 1980. However the motor has been replaced with a 7710 motor i beleive 268 with a turbo. Mechanic did not connect PTO brake cable correctly when i heard it rattleing, since then he has fixed this and is seems much quieter and does not vibrate the housing. Anyway I will ponder some more, the price they are asking is $18500 Aus. For comparison I am looking at a 5000 with under axle blade and 4500 hours on clock for $14500, no cab of course. Which would you buy???
