I have a 1946 Farmall A, basically the same tractor horsepower wise. I use a 5 foot belly mower, and it handles it great. Mine is a IH C3 mower deck, but I like the 5 foot Woods deck better. I have the 5 foot Woods L59 deck on my Massey Pony, and it works beautifully. The Pony is about half the horsepower of your B (or my A), and it still works pretty well. The Woods is an excellent deck, but it will probably set you back about $1700 for a new one.
