Around here you would need 5 tie downs, one at each corner and one in the middle. Had too many problems with improperly secured loads and then serious accidents. From my pick up truck hauling days (Ford 250 4x4 with a 400 mill and a 24 foot tag along) whenever I was stopped bt DOT, they never checked my weight, etc. but made dam- dam- sure that what I had was well secured. Overloaded and underbraked was never questioned. Sometimes they would check my lights and paperwork, but rarely. And this was up into the 90s!!!!....QR..
