Mike, I'd really look into who's been paying them taxes if I were you. That's how people lose property. It happens a lot more than you might think, and frequently on foreclosed property. All someone has to do, yourself included, is go down to the county assesor's office and look at back taxes owed, and pay them. That gives you a claim against the property. People lose their properties over stuff like that. A mortgage gets paid off, taxes are nolonger taken out via the escrow. That gives the county the right to put a tax lien on the property. Someone comes along, pays the taxes, ends up with the deed as far as the county is concerned. I'd be doing some serious checking as to whom it's been doing you no favor. Mark
