The strength of the cattle trailer is in the upright metal sides by the wheels. If these are rusted, then it is a complete rebuild of the trailer. Also, a cattle trailer is not as wide as an equipment trailer. Just wondered what type of equipment he was going to haul. If you had to rebuild the trailer, I would be looking at a new one. Price in TX run from $2800up depending on length and weight. Just my 2 cents worth...
