That might work if the other suppliers could supply all costumers but there is not enough refiners to meet the demand if we don't buy from those 2.
Lines would be long at one station and no one at Moble or Exxon.
The costumer will then go back to buy from the big two.
Besides Moble and Exxon are supplying other brands so would we really know who we are buying from.
There are no Moble or Exxon stations in my area.

But it might work. I don't know.
