When I run into a nasty window like that, I soak the window real good and slide a single edged rasor blade across the glass at a real shallow angle. You can actually feel the blade sliding easier as the glass gets cleaner. Then clean properly with window cleaner. It works well for me. It would not be a good idea if the glass has a aftermarket tint on it. Gene
