I have been in the landscape maintenance business for over 24 years and have fought these little pests all that time. Best solution I have found is a cup full of gasoline put down in several of the runs opened up with a rod. Just a cupful now I said in several or as many holes as you wish. Light it with a match and it will burn for up to 2 minutes depositing the carbon monoxide which is heavier than air down into the tunnels and sift into all the hidden places and hang there till the moles come thru for their twice daily run and jap, thats all folks. it really does work. Many have doubted but thouight it just crazy enough to try. Also short pieces of blackberry cane carefully placed in the runs using gloves to escape the human scent is quite effective since the moles scratch themselves on the thorns and bleed to death. They are hemopliliacs (sp). Hope this helps
