You probably better hang on to that MF with the Perkins diesel. I never had one but from what I"ve read about them here they"re one of the best. I"ll bet that tractor of yours has a relatively small fuel tank. A telling feature. As a matter of fact, I used to come across a post every now and again by Hugh McKay. He lives up in Canada where fuel is a lot more expensive and he swore by MF"s w/Perkins engines. The Nebraska test data on these tractors is available.

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned.
