(cant get much help on the Garden tractor forum, so I am reposting here) Hey guys, help me out here....I have 4 Jlarge John Deere tractors - best thing in the world....but when it comes to JD mowers (i mean 20 year old models), in my opinion, they aint worth a hoot. So, i have been buying Simplicity mowers all my life. The one I have is past it's prime and time to replace...been thinking about trying a 10 year old John Deere LX188. Local honda lawn mower dealer has one for $500. I dont know much about them, so please let me know what to look for when I check it out tomorrow. Any special places, things to look for? I hear they have a good liquid cooled Kawasaki engine. Thanks in advance. Mark
