I don't think the new coil will fix the problem I have with the carb/fuel. Up till I blew the coil up it would run just fine as long as the main jet was out of the carb, but if you so much as put a finget over the main jet hole it would die. I then tried running it with my finger over the hole and sprayed carb cleaner on the manifold where the carbs bolt to it and it would keep running. This manifold has been weld in that area and I figure it has a little leak there. I plan to put on 2 gaskets and use some silicone on both and see what happens, tha is after I look out in the junk yard for another coil
