Actually, the JD"s are just rebadged and painted a different color green and cost twice as much. Go to tractorbynet.com, they have a forum for the yanmars. They will be able to tell you if it"s grey market, and what (if any) JD"s it is the same as. Personally, I would say buy something else, it"s a glorified lawn tractor with tractor tires. Find a Farmall C or Oliver 550, and have 10 times the tractor.
