That 67hp gas tractor will burn just over 5 gallons of $2.839 per hour, at load which will cost about $14.20 per hour. That is because it gets 11.79 hphr/gal. On diesel. it gets 16.5 hphr/gal or uses about 4 gallons of $2.899-0.46 per hour, costing $9,51. There is a $4.69 per hour fuel advantage with diesel. Personally, I sold a perfectly good 1967 JD 3020g last year only because it WAS gas.
