BillD1, Thanks for you reply. My brother is a CRNA. He says to have a stroke that effects partial vision in one eye is not that unusual, but has not ever witnessed the complete loss of sight in both eyes as our father has had happen. I guess that during heart surgury, you are put under so deep the brain does suffer some. I guess more in some cases tham others.
