Farmall A antifreeze leak

My FAarmall Ais leaking antifreeze out of the clutch housing. I suspect that there is a frost plug leaking . I have also been told that the block must be cracked because there is no frost plug in that area. I know that I must split the tractor to find out but would like to know what to expect be for I start taking it apart .
