2-71 injector timing for John Starnes

Hey John, sorry it took me so long to get back to you with this info. I looked it up over the weekend and tried several times Monday and yesterday to post but for some reason couldn't get a post to come up on this board. Don't know what the problem was. Anyway, the injector timing height for a 2-71 with N65 injectors is 1.460. That should give you a rated BHP of 64 HP at 2000 RPM. If you want to gain an extra 4 HP you can substitute a N70 injector at the same timing. Hope this helps and again I apologize for taking so long to get the info to you. Good luck with your engine. By the way, what's it in? I know some of the old A/C machines like an HD5, I believe it was, used them so I was just curious.
