There are some things you can't kill with a stick. One of them is the merits of a 4020 over ANYTHING. I was hung up on the 4020 thing for a while until I looked around and did a little pencil drill. The economics rule in favor of the 6603 plus you know you have a machine with all new parts. Important if you have anything to do in a hurry that needs to get done. True, the 6603's parts will get old. But when the 6603 is 40 years old, the 4020 will be 80 years old. DC3's can still be found in flying condition, at air shows and museums.
