Ok...long story short. A friend called me a few nights ago. He knew a guy who was cleaning up his place he just got and wanted some junk tractors hauled out. Ok...here I go with a flashlight...thru the woods...in the rain. There set a Super MTA Diesel...looked really sad. It had been there a "very" long time with a JD80 and a Colby wagon setting beside it. The wagon even had the orignal 16" side and end metal sides with it. There are some JD 3 bottom trail type plows...but haven't got them out yet. The man said...get "all" of it out and it's yours. Got the Farmall in the barn last night, going after the JD and the wagon tomorrow. Will try and clean out the rest next week. I figured the Farmall was stuck...but put a crank to it and it is free. The serial number is 3 digit with an XE- in front of it. Any ideas what the XE is? Never saw one like it before. Some days you just really have a good day. I may try and change the oil, pull my carburator off the 450D and just try to start it on gas for the heck of it....or maybe not. May take it one step at a time for now. At lease they did not go to scrap.
