Okay if you all haven't noticed yet, I am off today and may end up tearing this thing apart. I have removed the valve cover as well as the oil pan. Everything looks really nice (very surprising). Almost as if it had been rebuilt in the last 5 years or so and does not have any rust on the valves what so ever. The push rods spin freely with the exception of the ones on the compression stroke, but will spin if lightly tapped. The valves and springs seem to compress and move with little effort. Nothing seems to be bent or stuck. I did check to make sure that the tranny was not stuck between two gears and that did check out just fine. I guess my next step is to remove the head. I really do not wish to do that just yet, but I guess this is not a good day to get suggestions on this board. I must be the only one that is off work or not out in the fields. If I were to hook this tractor up to my truck and try to pull it, what gear should I put it in and or would I need someone to ride the clutch to get the proper response? Thanks Daniel
