I guess you are buying from an individual. If he doesn't know what to do go through a dealer to get the paper work. There is I think a small charge for some documentation but thats about it. Agricultural equipment is sold and shipped both ways across the border all the time. You won't need a passport for now but a valid drivers lic. Good luck.......
