I would not worry. He probably had a fine time doing it. Didn't have to sit around the house listening to the wife nag him about not getting that fence done. Or maybe the boys did it with him bossing the show. You could contemplate which way it was while you trace their footsteps in reverse... Then you could try to remember just where it was each time you work that piece of ground.
Don't think you will get any complaints from him.
