Yup been there done that. I inquired and bought some tractor wheels from an old guy who frequents this board the other day. This old guy said they had 'Almost New' tires on em too. Price was about right if that had been true. When I got em these tires are OLD, weatherchecked and dryrotted. One of them is cut/split in two places, the splits are 4 or 5 inches long. These tires are junk. I wrote back to this old guy but his response is like 'Those tires are fine they have lots of life left in them'. Yeah right. Almost new huh? Big rippoff if you ask me. Thats the last time I make a purchase like that.
