The amount of rain here has been overly excessive, many days of rain in a row, 2 weeks ago, 24 hours straight downpouron the weekend, this is the first week anyone dares to fool with hay. The big dairy farm here, got quite a bit in, but on friday, I went by and saw some beautiful alfalfa down, no rain predicted, I wake up yesterday, clear when I went to sleep, gray when I woke up, another 6 hour rain seesion no charge He just cut it, was still in the swath, so it will be ok, but everything you do is predicated on when it's not raining lately. If I fire up my welding machine, am working on this old truck outside, don't you know as soon as I start, it will rain, well not everytime, but I've been skunked more than once, pack it all in, like a fire drill, than set up again, and repeat LOL, I need to set up at Allan's place, I'm sure it would follow me !
