Hi Guy, Yep, when the crop is full of weeds like this one is, the weeds have to dry down before being fed thru the machine. This is a nurse crop for alfalfa so I couldn't even spray the darned thing with 2-4D. The way the year is going with the sparatic rains, I'm afraid the sunflowers are gonna be above the darned oats before too long. Yeah, I'd rather use the cutter head too, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. :>( Allan
