OT: Utility Vehicles???

Been considering a utility vehicle, but there"s just so many out there now. A buddy just bought a Mule and he seems to like it, but it"s not as fast as say a Yamaha Rhino or Polaris Ranger. But I can get mule quite a bit cheaper. Do all these things come with the belt drive automatic transmission?? I never have been fond of those. What other brands and models should I be looking at?? Thanks.
