Will be attempting to screw out 1 3/4 inch iron pipe from cast iron manifold on Continental 6 cylinder flat head engine. It has been soaking several days with "Kroil" on threads. My question is how do I heat with acetylene torch? Do I just heat the pipe? try turing it out while hot? pour cold water on pipe while hot? heat both pipe and manifold. I don't want to crack manifold, so need some advice. THANKS
