Took my 1956 Case out for its weekly exercise but instead of my usual level route, I turned left and went downhill. She decided to throw out a good deal of blue smoke out the exhaust when I eased off the throttle and coast downhill. She clears up right away when I lay on the pedal and climbs the upgrades no problem with no smoke. Question: Where is the oil coming through ? I just had a complete valve and head rebuild. Compression is okay and uniform in all four cylinders, but not great. Also, I get treated to a single loud backfire exactly 6 seconds after each shut down. Her way I saying good night, I guess. Any ideas out there appreciated. Kestrel
