I've noticed more the last several years. Don't know why. Maybe all the publicity about Lyme disease has made me look harder. The ticks we find are the big wood ticks. Some people say only the very small deer ticks carry Lyme disease but our vet says that may not be true and other ticks may carry the disease also.
