Hi Gang;
The largest farmer in our area of Shropshire just started combining the winter sown oil seed rape today. Temperature 91F.
Crop yielding 2.3 tons per acre with moisture content varying from 9 to 13% during the day.
Combine cutting speed 4.7mph, 30 feet wide header, fitted with side knife on right side to help cut the crop evenly.
