I would like to put a fresh engine in my old Ariens GT18 which currently has a blown Kohler K361 engine. I rebuilt the top end once before and it has not been the most reliable engine so now I would like to replace it with either a Kawasaki or a new model Kohler but I don't know what would fit. Is there an easy bolt up replacement out there? I have a lot of Ariens specific attachements, and the tractor is in excellent shape but I need a reliable easy replacement power source. Anybody got any input???
