Allen, that blasted rubber band caught my eye too, but it runs too good above ~1700 rpm to be off. you, it does 'seem' to start a little better when warm but it still won't idle and the exhaust seems to be flowing good. steve, I agree, but as I found out, the non-california escorts did not have one. IF this thing ever gets better, I'll post what happened. Thanks again!
