Could it be that your carburator is icing up? right temperature and humidity will choke up the venturi very easily. Make sure that your fuel source has some form of alcohol mixed with it, and this can usually be controlled. Also check to make sure that you are drawing vapor only. Liquid would allow to much fuel into the system. Airplanes use a feature called carb heat. Warm air is drawn through the carb to eliminate any ice condition. The warmed air does decrease power slightly,
