I second the vote for Silver Queen being the best. Here is the best way I have found to eat it: Separate it from the stalk. Hold ear in right hand while you pull the foliage back with your left. Give it a little wack against the base of your left hand to shake the worm loose. Hold it up to your mouth and eat away. Pull yourself away regularly to display an ear-to-ear grin, and also to wipe the milk from your face. A good cotton shirt sleeve works best for that. After a half-dozen or so ears, walk back to the house and take a break. That is the best way I have found to eat sweet corn. Thanks for asking. David in SC
