I had a run-in with one of those big cats years ago..was at my moms near claremore,out roamin around in the woods about 10pm,pitch black..I had a flashlight,but it wasn't on,just enjoying the quite and darkness.. I guess he was asleep,cause I walked up within 6 or 8 feet of him...he jumped up,luckily went the other way,took the top 2 strands off of a 6 wire fence..by the time I got the light on,he was about 40 feet away,hunkered down like he was ready to pounce and starin at me..I walked backwards for aways,then rather quickly made my way back to the house..
