This morning I drove out to Sycamore to the 50th Annual Sycamore Steam Show. That was really great and saw a lot of steam engines and tractors. I've never real;ly been to any other shows besides the little one in my town, so it was an eye opener, even though it's medium sized at best. Can't wait for the Mount Pleasant, Iowa show. Came home, worked on a Briggs engine, then headed over to the John Deere Historic site in Grand Detour. They had a tractor drive today including 112 tractors. They had 75 or so displayed on the grounds of the historic site. Some of the shiniest green I've ever seen along with lots of other shiny colors. Came home happy, relaxed and refreshed. Good day for a tractor fan.
